6:30- Wake up. Earlier than normal but baby is generally happy.
7-Feed baby she doesn't seem very hungry.
9:30-Try to put baby down for a nap. Not working. Feed her again. Not very hungry.
10:30- Give up on morning nap time. Still not hungry but excited about eating cereal...or at least spoon being in mouth. Get ready to go grocery shopping.
12- Go to the store. Baby starts screaming bloody murder in store making big scene.
12:15- After nothing is calming baby in her car seat and I have not added any groceries to my cart I take her out to at least distract her from her mouth. Baby stops crying but I am now trying to one handed push a cart, hold squirmy baby in other arm and get needed items in cart without baby grabbing other items off shelves.
12:45- Make it to check out lane. Have to put baby back in car seat to put items on conveyer belt. Screaming. Give her spice bottle to chew on to help the pain in mouth. Cashier gives me pity look. I make excuses for my child.
12:50- Get baby to car she screams herself to sleep in car. Phew.
1:00- Get home baby wakes up getting her out of car. Starts screaming. Try feeding her again. Success.
2:00-Finally tired enough to take a nap.
3- Awake. Seems happy again. Yay.
4- Try to give her some pear puree. Not having it. Not having much milk or water either. I'm getting frustrated.
5- Having lots of fun playing with me and dad. Lots of airplane, bouncing and giggles. I feel better.
6-Eats a little and passes out.
7- Awake. Eats a little.
7:30- Sleep.
9:30- Screaming. Not hungry. Gets pissed when I give her a binky. I decide to look for the baby tylenol.
9:45- Searched everywhere, baby tylenol is nowhere to be found. I remember daycare never gave it back to me when I picked her up last week when she was sick. Need to find something else to make her feel better.
10:00- Find baby toothbrush and rub on her gums which seems to make her feel better.
10:15- Still brushing her gums. She might be starting to fall asleep.
10:25- I put her in bed. She instantly wakes up and starts screaming.
10:30- I listen to her scream
10:40- I switch her binky to one she has never liked before. She loves it.
10:50- She drifts off. I run to bed to try to fall asleep as fast as possible so I can get as much sleep as possible before she wakes up again.
12- She's up again. Luckily goes back to sleep after eating a little.
1-Up again. Binky gets her back to sleep.
2- Up again. Binky saves me again.
3-Up again. Binky. 10 minutes of crying.
4:30- Up again. Food. Binky.
6:30- Wake up. Repeat.
I am posting this picture partly so you can see the first tooth on the right (her left), which cut with no drama, and the bump where the second tooth is coming in next to it that is causing all the drama, and partly because I am rather impressed with my mad picture taking skills. No jaw prying, no lip pulling just good angle and perfect timing during one of the rare smiles.
I so much wish I could be there to help!! I love you, honey!! You're doing a GREAT job!!
ReplyDeleteaw, you must be soo tired! hope those teeth pop out soon.
